Why do we love?

whoah,today totally whacked after 2.4 run.this year's timing set by yours truly was alot worse than last year's timing.to think i was even planning to reach under 15 min to 14 min plus plus..already lousy.saw so many super novas on that i'd never thought i could spot on earth and witnessed the prescence of super powers on the track.

Thank You Jesus once again today.without You, there's no way my timing could i could have made it,or my timing shortened miraculously from that during pe. Thank you Saviour.

it turned out fine!went with the whole bus load of sweaty ij girls to toa payoh and lunched with hsi wen and silvia.

things learnt today :

1. water chesnut in koufu does not go with cha kway teow.

2. be a REAL VEGETARIAN when you need to.dont ask for mockery.

3.popiah should never be squashed with their stuffings.

then went off to somerset.got there earlier,so decided to kill time at hmv.

phoebe's solitary shopping expedition:

spent a whole hour in the classical section.believe me,just looking through the ones on spring sale will take you a fair bit of time. a time assasin indeed. and left wondering why singapore sells the most extremes of music: the rockiest pop and the orchestral classics. no on the fence band music. the only known source is not even in a proper shop.singapore's totally not the place for band cds..

next,popped over to espirit in centrepoint,which just make me wish the price would go lower,with such lovely but unaffordable clothes on the rack.they have not many desgins,more towards variations of colour on the same design.and they hang it in racks of the same colour.quite interesting really,love the long sleeved shirts and pants but all unreasonably priced as usual at an well-known boutique.so sad.half an hour admiring before running back to somerset to meet eirene.

went over to plaza sing's starbucks and studied lit with eirene. where i made the regretable blunder of convincing myself that coffee was not too bad,just me being paranoid.it just shot me in the face three drinks later. the smell and aftertaste reminded me of coffee smell in the plane.pheh. wanted to vomit. but today's lit session really opened my mind to points that never occurred to me.

big lesson of the day :

1. Phoebe must always stick to tea,and not coffee. gross.

my sop dream's vanished.too expensive to be bought.now i know it has a reason to be all shiny and put in a glass case.
